Like the topic/description says, when I am making a slow + tight turn, with the clutch in (usually pulling into a parking spot), I will hear a clunk from the rear.


This wont happen if the car is under power (example: making a right turn, or a U-turn), ONLY when coasting.

It's ONE clunk, not too loud, if I have the stereo on you can not hear it.

I changed my diff oil with mobile 1 about 1000 miles ago, and there was only some slight fuzz on the drain plug.


What do you guys think?

 

Can you narrow it down a bit? Driver's side rear, mid rear, or passenger side rear?

 

I'm gonna have to go with ".... in the general direction of the rear"


It's obvious/loud enough to be able to pinpoint

 

If it's what I think it is, it's normal. It's just the LSD sticking. Mine has done it for the last 3 years.

 

LSD is what i said...

 

Normal for many LSD autos. This was routine for my TR4.
