Default Clutch?

Are there typical signs that the clutch is starting to go? I have an AP1 with 70k on the OEM clutch and am just wondering what the typical clutch life is (I know that is an open ended question)? Sometimes I swear I feel a small amount of slip above 8000 rpm, but I tend to be a bit paranoid and hypersensitive.

I do track the car a few times a year...

Thanks for any feedback!

"Typical" S2000 clutch is 10K to 200K. There are tests you can do to determine if the clutch is needing replacement. Any decent mechanic can do these tests without taking the thing apart. A 5 minutes road test is all it takes but the driver needs to know what to do.
