AP-1 stock exhaust on AP-2
Please excuse me from bringing up this topic that has been discussed to death, but - Do any of you have any rear pictures of an AP-2 with a stock AP-1 exhaust? I recently bought a very low miles 2005 and want to replace the MagnaFlow exhaust with a stock system. The droning noise drives me crazy. I might have a good deal on a low miles AP-1 stock exhaust, but I am concerned about the comments that I have read about the system hanging lower on the rear and underside. I know that I will have to use the AP-1 rubber hangars and will have to shorten the tail pipes if I want to install AP-2 oval tips. I want to make sure that the system will install and look fine before I pull make an offer on the AP-1 system. Thanks for any help and pictures.

I have an AP1 exhaust replacing the unbearably droning Invidia that came on my 2005. Only an S2K afficionado would know the difference by looking, but it transfomed the car, especially at droning speeds.
Very easy reversion, I'd do it in a minute again.

thanks guys. Not going with the AP-1 system. I found an AP-2 system in Mass last week. 10K miles on it, just like new. I installed it and am real pleased. No drone! Still sounds nice when I go up in the revs. Guess that I'll put the MagnaFlow system up for sale.
