Default Clutch bleeding problem

ok guys so here is my problem. today i replaced my MY05 slave cylinder with a brand new MY03 version. i got it on and cut off the excess portion of the guide pin for the hydraulic hose so that it would fit the 03 cylinder. now my problem is after trying to bleed the system several time i cannot get it to work. the pedal has nothing until it is almost to the floor and then it has a little bit of pressure but not enough to disengage the clutch.
