Clutch Buzz.....new clutch

Clutch Buzz.....new clutch
My clutch finally went out and I just recently replaced the clutch with the ACT Street kit and a 8lb flywheel.
Now, my problem is I don't drive the car much so I just hit 500 miles on the clutch (1 month later) after shifting @ 2k rpms till 500 miles was reached.
Now, that I have passed 500 miles I took it all the way up to 8k rpm and this really LOUD ANNOying vibration now pronounces itself after 2k rpms and dramatically gets louder as RPMs increase. I need earplugs if I want to go into vtec. I did the research and I assume clutch buzz came from the OEM disc........but it's a new clutch and I am stumped.
It does it anytime when the car goes past 2k rpms. During acceleration there is no noise till past 3k rpms. When I crank the engine there is also a slight vibration. Not a tap thank goodness ..Engine still runs strong, no codes, no loss of oil. I am pretty stumped though it's really really really annoying.

"Authentic" clutch buzz is while decelerating only, in 3rd or 4th, from 4k rpm down to 2k rpm (+/_)
Take it back to the dealer / mechanic that changed the clutch and go for a test drive.
Something is not right IMO.

yeah, I am going to have to try to buy another clutch disc. I want to just take it back to them but seeing it has been a month I know they are going to want to charge me.

I just had the same setup as you installed about a week ago.
ACT Heavy Duty Pressure Plate
ACT Organic Street Disc
ACT Prolite Flywheel (8.6 lbs I think)
There is clutch buzz on decel but I had it with the original also, so no surprise there. If anything, the clutch buzz is louder but the sound is smoother if that makes any sense.
I've also noticed more noise on acceleration. But not nearly as much as the decel buzz.
Noises with on both accel and decel have slightly decreased as the clutch is getting broken in. It's still there and I think it'll always be there, but it's not so bad, no worse than stock on my year 2000.
Maybe you're not used to the noise the new clutch setup makes? If it's excessively loud there's probably something wrong though. But it definitely makes noise.
Did you also have some shudder when taking off from a stand-still? I had some and it's been getting better (so far, about 250 miles into break-in) but it's still there and I'm worried it won't totally go away even after break-in.
