Clutch down, putting it into 1st gear
When i am on a flat surface I press down the clutch and put it in 1st gear. I feel the car or mechanical parts moving forward, with the clutch still fully pressed down.
Is this normal?
Please adivse. Thanks.

well this happend to me when i had dirty brake fluid. i would put it in first and have the clutch in all the way but yet it would creep forward. after i start noticed this the gears started becoming hard to put in first 2nd and rev. and then one day i was driving and the car would not go in frist and i had to pull as hard as i could to get in second just to roll off, alot of traffic was behind me
i got it bled and put fresh fluid in and problem solved, it doesnt do it anymore. but i wouldnt call it normal because my car never did it and doesnt do it now

If I understand correctly (which so far I'm fairly sure I don't) it seems that the consensus in this thread is that with the car "at rest" on a "flat surface" that the car will start moving after simply shifting into first gear with the clutch pedal fully depressed?
I don't know, that definitely doesn't sound normal to me.
