Good morning everyone,

I got in my car this morning and noticed that the engagement point on my clutch has dropped drastically and is almost to the floor. It was also difficult for me to get the shifter to move into different gears. Anyone have any idea about what this could be?

do u have any pressure in the pedal?

 

Very little to no pressure until the clutch engagement point near the floor.

Forgot to add... its an my00 with 60k miles on original oem clutch

 

check the reseivor for fluid, ur slave cylinder might be just leaking, ur clutch might still be good.

 

I took a look and it was below the min. line.

So I went to autozone and bought some dot 4 fluid... topped it off and the engagement point jumped back up again.... now i need to figure out where its leaking from :-)

Flush your fluid and take the air out. See if it makes it better. New clutch master cyl should be cheap too if you want to just replace it.
