Default Clutch changes biting point

It seems that when i first start the car up the biting point is about half way through the pedal... then once the car has warmed up then it's right near the top of the pedal travel... do i just need to get the thing replaced? because it's starting to do my head in now...

A couple of things. First check the amount of fluid in the clutch reservoir. Here is a good DIY on bleeding the clutch but it will help you http://forums.s2kca.com/showthread.php?t=12154. If it is low or dirty I would bleed the clutch. Also check inside the car under where the clutch pedal is. If you see fluid there then the clutch master cylinder is gone bad. Here is a DIY on replacing it http://forums.s2kca.com/showthread.php?t=15696.

You have a MY00 so it is not that uncommon to have to replace.
