Default Clutch fluid Bleeding.

I checked my clutch fluid last night and noticed that it is massively dirty and it needs to be changed. I plan on changing it tomorrow afternoon, but I've never bled clutch fluid. Ive heard that you can take the excess fluid out of the reservoir with a baster, then loosen the nipple on the slave cylinder and let gravity do its thing while you pour new fluid into the reservoir. When clean fluid starts to come out of the nipple then you re tighten it and top off your reservoir. Am i on the right track here? I heard that you dont even need to touch the clutch pedal. Any additional info would be great. Also, what clutch fluid do you recommend?

Believe it or not in the 12 years since the car came out, someone may have asked the question that you're about to ask.

Why doesn't anyone search?* It isn't that hard. Go to your search engine and type "s2ki billman250 ______________" with pretty much anything and you'll get a good result 90% of the time.

So in this case:
s2ki billman250 clutch fluid

2nd link, navigate back to the first page and you'll find this:

*It could be an observation bias in that I only see the people who don't search. Maybe there are ten competent people for every one who doesn't like to search, but I'm not that optimistic.

Used search. Apparently I didn't use any good keywords. Oh well, found what I needed regardless.

I've tried using the search option here too.

It seems that sometimes the website (or respective cookies) gets hung up. Because the most recent posts will be from 2001.

Best bet is to google it first, as it will find the topics on S2KI better than the search engine on here will.

That's the point of my link. I just use my regular trusty search engine, usually Google, instead. On rare occasion, usually only less popular subforums, I'll use the S2ki search function.
