Clutch free play adjustment question
So I put a new cmc in this weekend. I didn’t bench bleed it, but nor did most of the YouTube vids I watched on s2000 cmc swap.
After install I did a gravity bleed followed by a old school 2 person bleed (pump while cracking bleeder) and then a final vacuum bleed at the mc to pull out any last remaining air bubbles.
I made a quick vid showing what I’m trying to determine if it’s free play I can adjust out, or if it’s the plunger pushing.

It looks like a little bit to much play to me = Still a little bit of air in the System. As i have installed mine, it was not much, maybe about 1.5 Turns of the rod between maximum and zero freeplay.
Try to press the clutch pedall to the floor for some time with a pice of wood or so to compress all air bubbles and try to "Shake" all the clutch lines. I used a old small sanding tool for this. If you touch the brake lines with this tool while it runs, the vibration really helps to force all stubborn air bubbles up to the Master cylinder.

Easiest way, two blocks of wood. One across base of seat to evenly distribute pressure. Other from seat base to pedal.
Wedge block of wood so pedal is pressed to floor. Leave overnight.
The fluid will be pressurized (by the spring load of pressure plate), squeezing the air bubbles. This pressure will cause bubbles to rise. Flow up, into reservoir.
