CLUTCH ISSUE - Need Advice
Here is the low down:
Lined up beside a G35, took off, shifted to 5th from 2nd hard. Ever since, when at a dead stop and taking off in first lightly.....I can feel like a subtle slip and catch again. It's like it grabs, lets go a little, and grabs right away again......
Am I feeling things or is this a sign of my clutch starting to slip?
It actually kind of feels like the tires spin for a split second??
Hopeing you clutch guru's can chime in and advise me one what is going on?
Thank you,

I guess my question is how many miles do you have on the clutch now?
You can also take off slowly in 1st gear, get to about 5000 RPM at 1/4 throttle and then floor it. If the clutch disc is worn out, it will slip almost till redline without the car gaining speed.

Difficult to know whats wrong without driving it. But clutches tend to usually slip and the higher rpm's and not the lower.
A quick test that I like to do is to drive the car in 2nd gear at about 3-4k rpm. Then quickly shift to 4th(yes I said 4th) gear and floor the gas pedal. If the clutch slips you will see the rpm rise with little vehicle speed improvement. If the clutch does not slip you will see the rmp's remain low(at about 2k-3k).
