Default Clutch master cylinder

In this modern day and age we don't rebuild them any more. We just replace them. They're a consumable item.

Well not at $240 they're not. Damn Aus dealers are having a laugh.

Where can I buy one online? Majestic Honda's website seems to be unavailable. Any other suggestions?

You can get them sleeved with a stainless liner. Big plus is they will never rust again.

Look in Australian classic cars magazine. There used to be a place in alexandria/rosebery that did them for most of sydney's workshops.

I'll post if I remember who they were.

Have you pulled it apart. You may find a hone and seal kit will get it going again for a while.

Online sellers in the US have them for $USD80. I'm waiting for word back from them.

I just changed the fluid tonight but it's hard to bleed properly by yourself unless you know a procedure.

Procedure:

Using a screwdriver, reach it through the rubber boot window and pump the fork and slave towards the rear of the car.

It has worked for me many times and will push all the air to the resovior.

You can also unbolt the slave (line connected and fluid full) and point the bleeder straight up and open it. Gravity will push the air right out. Just don't let it run the master empty (I'm sure you know this already )

Gravity first, pump fork after is guaranteed to get 100% of the air out.

But you may get lucky with fork-pump only.
