Default clutch master/slave cylinder

back last year, in may/june, I bought my car with around 23,000 miles on it. within a week, my clutch slave cylinder went out. I'm pretty sure they replaced the master unit as well, but to be honest, I couldn't tell you, and the paperwork is at my parents house.

today when I was leaving on my lunch break, the same symptoms showed up out of nowhere: clutch has no resistance, doesn't engage until the pedal is on the floor, getting in gear has progressively gotten harder, and now I can't shift into reverse. my mileage is around 38,000 miles.

the car is still under warranty (extended), so the part will be covered.

am I doing something wrong? am I not driving correctly? I don't take it to the track, and maybe do 1 day of hard driving a month, with the rest of the time daily driving.

or is the system really that finicky?

1 check you fluid
2 since it's under warranty take it to the dealership and let them fix it

Look under the clutch pedal at the rod and see if there any brake fluid dripping from it. Top off the master cyllinder.

but the fluid was all replaced 15k miles ago.

is there a different fluid interval than what the owners manual states?

I think the same thing is happening to me. I can't shift into first gear sometimes.

turned out to be the master cylinder. last time they replaced the slave cylinder. also, apparently one of my rear shocks was blown, so that's getting replaced. odd, considering I never heard anything
