Default clutch noises

Hi S2000 fanatics,

My new bought S2000 MY 2006, 32.000 km, is producing the -unfortunately- well known noises at decelleration from the clutch, as known from the pre-2002 models. My garage is going to install a new frictionplate next week.

I was wondering if somebody else with MY 2006 or up, has experienced the same "classic" problem and if the installation of a new plate will solve the problem propperly

I am getting somewhat nervous reading several people having installed several times new clutches on their older S2000 and the problem never got really fixed.....

Anyway, if the problem cannot be fixed permanently, I think there may be no use in doing the repair as the clutch functions well (disregarding the noise) and the repair possible causes more problems than it does resolve.

I am looking forward to your comments and experiences!

Kind regards, Rob

the car makes alot of noises, it will keep making new ones. hope you get it quiet like you want it however with the updated factory disc.. just remember that the transmission is within arms reach.. that's why you can hear it so well.
