Clutch pedal goes all the way down
Good morning and thanks for helping me. I got in my car today and the clutch pedal went all the way down with no resistance and I couldn't put it in gear. The clutch fluid reservoir was almost empty. I know I haven't gotten under it to take a look but does anyone know what it could be or had the same problem?
...I'm thinking maybe the master or slave cylinder leaked.
Anyways thanks for your guys help in advance.

you've got a leak, that's for sure.
try doing a bleed clutch bleed, it might just be dirty...but i doubt it since you're almost empty.
if you bleed it and it still leaks, you're going to have to replace either your master or slave cylinder.

just started having this problem today. car is stuck in drivway. how hard is this to fix yourself, or should i jsut have it towed to the dealer? I did feel some drops of what i thought was water from the AC on my leg on saturday, could this be related?

it's easy...you can even do it by yourself with a gravity bleed...which gives you better pedal feel.
The AC is on the passenger side.
I have seen clutch master cylinders leak into the car, though I'd be surprised if thhe fluid found it's way far enough back from the firewall to actually drip on your leg. But since you also had an empty reservoir I'd say check the master cylinder up under the dash for signs of leaking.
This can be a DIY job if you have reasonable mechanical skills, probably take a few hours though.

75% of the s2ks I work on have low clutch fluid.
95% of those have leaked out the back of the mater, into the interior carpet.
I have found long ago that if the fluid is changed, and kept clean, the leak will stop.

Thanks guys. I put a little brake fluid in the reservoir and pumped the pedal and was able to get it into gear. I jacked it up and everythiong was clean. Bled the fluid and the clutch is hard as a rock now.
...before I changed it the fluid was dark grey.
.........Thank you very much for the replies.
