Clutch pedal stiff after pop

Default Clutch pedal stiff after pop
I was driving the S today and when I pressed in the clutch there was a sort of pop and my clutch pedal got super stiff, something definitely broke. I drove it home like that and now i'm here.
The master cylinder was leaking recently so at first I thought it was that, but wouldn't a bad master cause the pedal to get soft not stiff? Anyone know what might have went wrong?

Inspect your slave cyl.

If slave is good, check clutch fork and throw out bearing
