Default Clutch Problem

Ok so I'm just about to hit 50k on my car, just got it about 6 months ago its a MY00 and its been running awesome. Yesterday my car was running fine i even drove about 120 miles or so on the highway, last night the temp dropped about 40 degrees or so and this morning when i got in my car i had a lot of trouble getting it into reverse and the gears were sticking a bit on my way to work. When i was leaving on my lunch I could not get it into reverse, i had to cut off the ignition and put it in reverse with the car off then start it that way. I had typical issues of clutch drag (When i try to put it in first its difficult and the car moves even with the clutch on the floor plus it was worse while cold it got a bit better when it warmed up) but the clutch peddle is very loose for the first half of the throw to the floor there is really no resistance. so basically I'm trying to figure out if anyone else has the same problem and what caused it (master cylinder or slave, pp whatever) and what all i should check first because I need this fixed ASAP.

Sorry if this is a repost i searched some but i only have 15 min to do it until i have to be back at work. I'll check the fluids and all in about 4 hours when i get home thanks for your help in advance.

Air in your clutch line? Check if you have enough fluid in your slave cylinder resevoir.
