clutch problem
Hey guys i recently bought an s2000 2 weeks ago and the guy i got it off said he just had the clutch changed but i have driven about 5 other s2ks that my friends have and none of there clutch feels like mine. The way it feels is when you press it down its really hard then all of a sudden it clicks really loud then when letting off the clutch it feels like there is gum stuck under the pedal and just pops up real quick...is anyone's clutch similar and if not how do i fix it, and what can it be?
pull the slave cylinder off the tranny, clean and grease the fork seat, and get some of the honda high temp/urea grease on the ends of the fork where it contacts the bearing. you'll be good to go
also, while you have the slave apart, go ahead and polish the ball and make sure it's got grease on it as well per this thread
