Default clutch slipping?

car has almost 400 miles on it, and i know it's not broken in yet but i took it up to redline in 1st and 2nd, and the clutch felt like it slipped. so i did 3rd also, and it's definately slipping.

so my question is why? abused for it's first 14 miles of it's life at the dealer? will it go away?

i have plenty of experience driving manual cars, and have owned about 5 of them, one being a 13 second neon. so i know it's not my driving.

i just hope it gets grabby soon.

also, is there a clutch dampening device somewhere in the system? i know on my buddy's is300 there's a small damper, and we removed it and it made a world of a difference in the feel and engagement of the clutch.

thanks

Read up on "clutch delay valve" and you'll have your answer.
