Default clutch slipping?

OK, I just took my 2000 nfr(45000 miles) out of storage and after a day of having it out I decided to get on it a little. At first I thought I was spinning the tires because I was going uphill and it was around 36 degrees out.The car was fine till Vtec, then it would jump right to redline with no power, same exact thing on the next shift. There was no burning smell or any smoke. The car runs great until I get on it. My first guess is that the clutch needs replaced. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. Also if it is the clutch what should I replace it with and should I replace the flywheel, I want to keep the stock feel but would like more performance out of it. Totally lost!

i think it's not mandatory to replace the flywheel.

You will want to have the flywheel resurfaced - similar to turning brake rotors. I'd replace the disc, pressure plate, throwout and pilot bearings with OEM parts since you're NA.

Are you the original owner?

still on original at 115000 miles. I once had a leaky slave cylinder and it leaked into the bell housing and made the clutch slip like crazy. Slave cylinder quit leaking and clutch went back to perfect. You said it was slipping after you got it out of storage, was it fine before storage? because a clutch doesn't just go from perfect to slipping its @$$ off after sitting unless it fly's apart, or something leaks on it, or its over heated really bad, ect..

It was fine the day I put into storage, then 2 days later right about vtec it would go almost right to redline. Its starting to happen at lower and lower rpms as time goes by...no lines of fluid anywhere. Also the pedal feels perfect also. This is making me think that it is the slave cylinder leaking. I've only had to replace one clutch in my lifetime and it was on my prelude and the car was inoperable one day, not like this where I can still drive the car.

now I'm worried about taking into the shop and them just telling me that The clutch needs replaced(probably over 1000) and its just the slave cylinder...The shop I'm taking it to is the sponsor of clevelandracing.com and is pretty reputable in the area.
