Code P2646 Rocker arm actuator Help
I have been having this code pop up strictly on track. Once during a cool down, and once right below my vtec engagement (4K rpm tuned on flashpro)
I can't seem to replicate the problem on the street. If i clear the code, and drive normal it will not throw a CEL. This is what i have done so far/info on car:
07 2000
14,500 miles on the motor (mostly track milage, and driving to the track, around town)
flashpro tune, vtec set at 4k rpm
header,highflow cat, 91 octane
Veriify oil level is on the high side ( 10w40) ( I have used motul and amsoil) I have less than 500 miles on the oil
OEM PCX filter
Valve adjustment
Pulled vtec solenoid, and verified there are no clogs in screen
Measure resistance on plugs
Replaced vtec solenoid with OEM unit
Things i will try:
Remove tune
measure oil pressure
Replace a fuse in the engine compartment box ( strange large fuse, unlabeled with a harness and plug going to it)
Any thoughts?

I believe a faulty or missing signal from the VTEC oil pressure switch will cause it to set that code, which is effectively telling you that VTEC is "stuck off". So you may want to check the wiring to that switch you could possibly have a bad one. This is the two wire pressure switch right at the VTEC solenoid (round plug).
@Billman250 I bet can shed some light on this
