coilover's suspension question
Hi all,
I am having a hardtime getting my hands on adjusting the dampening on the driver side rear. anyone have any suggestions on how to turn the knob and adjust it accordingly? i tried using some pliers. but i can't get a good angle due to the gas lines and so fourth. what do you do to adjust the dampening?

You can remove the gas tank filler hose. That's what I have to do. There is one screw inside the trunk behind the felt liners and three nuts at the filler top. I put a rag in the tank neck so no nuts will fall in and a rag over the shock tower to the other screw doesn't fall down there (again).
I use to do this before and after each autoX to adjust my shocks, but after doing it about 5 times, I have just decided to leave that shock at the autoX setting and adjust the other three back and forth for autoX and street settings.

Which coilovers do you have?
I have the KW V3s and most of us who have them, install the driver's rear with the adjusting knob attached. Perhaps you can do the same?

Well, I just slide both my hands under the tubes, and use my index fingers to adjust.
hope it helps.
