Collision Repair and Evaluation (pics)
Thanks! You don't by chance remember the brand or anything of the plugs do you? I was in pep boys looking for them two days ago, but didn't find anything. I'll have to go back and look again sometime.

I don't have the info on the plugs anymore. At Pep Boys they have a whole section with lots of these little plastic plugs. I'll try to get more info for you, next time I'm there.

Matt-
I will be posting all of the details, good and bad. (There are not many bad things to report, but I will be honest.)
At this point, I don't think it is possible to overstate how good the quality of service is. I've been either at the shop, or on the phone with the shop, daily. They also call me often for my input, and to give me status updates.
I've also been throwing in some extra stuff (custom hood, some shaving, and painting the headlight inserts), which they have gone out of their way to accommodate (they usually only do OEM work).
There is still a lot of work to do, and some of it still up in the air, like the hood issue, and how the cleared and painted headlights will turn out. I won't start on the taillights until everything else is completed. I know they are very difficult to take apart and reseal.
Thanks for your help on this project, Matt. I will be posting many more details about the repair in the thread.

The estimate to get my car back to pre-accident condition was a little over $7,000.
This may be reduced depending on the amount of work that actually needs to be done. I'm hoping there will be no paint blending, and associated prep fees. There were also other items on the estimate which may not be required.
There may also be some type of discount because I am paying for this myself (as opposed to using the insurance company), but I don't think it's appropriate to expect anything like that.
Then there is the the extra stuff I have added on. I bought the headlights on my own from TheHardTopGuy, so that I could clear them, and paint the inserts. I also bought the defective Amuse-style hood from Evolution, and an OEM front spoiler from World Honda. I don't know yet how much painting the headlight inserts and hood will cost.
Whatever the final cost is, I can tell you now that I can't afford it!
The money is being taken from my savings for Anesthesia School, which begins in August.
