Default Comp-Tech Exhaust Question

Just had my new Comp-Tech exhaust installed this afternoon, and drove it for the first time. I was kind of disappointed by the sound. The one I heard on my friend's was probably twice as loud.

Will it get louder, or what do I need to do?

what you hear is what you get. I have had mine for 20K+ miles and I haven't noticed any change in the sound.

Won't the exhaust sound get deeper as the carbon deposits build up on the inside?

My tone got deeper in about 500 miles. The insulation in the mufflers will settle and that is what the stench you will smell for a while is. Mine sound great.

Thanks for the info James. I called Tire Rack to check prices yesterday, and they said they were out of the fronts. The guys at Discount Tire are trying to sell me some 5zigen Fighters. They don't look too bad, but they only come in 7.5in width on F & B !!!

Take a look and tell me what you think.

I got the exhaust and header and I did notice a difference in tone and volume after 500+ miles as well. It sounded good a deep before, and now it is deeper and a little louder at normal revs, MUCH louder at FF.
