Default Comptech with AC and a FRP insted of Comptech FMU

I am runnig a Comptech with AC and Costum Intercooler (tech2motorsports), I also have a toda header and stock exhaust and a Walbro 255 lph@90.

Currently runnig lean, Since get the car tunned with electronics here in Spain is very complicated. I have to take the "old way"

I will change the FMU for a SX Regulator (30-90 psi).

Will like to know which the the max pressure that the stock injectors can handle

I will used a wideband to "tune" the FRP

thx

Juan, Removing the FMU is NOT a good idea without some other form of additional fuel control.
Do not drive your car in boost without a FMU and just a FPR. It will be much leaner than it already is.

The stock injectors can take 125psi of pressure, that's what the stock Vortech FMU makes. 10:1 FMU, 10psi increase in fuel pressure for every 1psi of boost. 50-55psi of fuel pressure stock, +75psi from the FMU, 125-130 psi @ 7.5 psi of boost.

I thought you had the E-manage tuned?

Slow I could not comunicate with the Emanage I used to laptop and always have problems so I am back to Stock Comptech.

I got higher fuel flow than Comptech uses in their kit.

So I have to run the FMu and the Sx FRP at the same time?

Just to hijack your thread for one quick question....

I am planning on a Comptech supercharger with aftercooler int he near future. Can it be installed safely with no additional management, (using the comptech computer) or is it imperative that I installed some other form of management(ie emanage or aem).....by safe, I mean occasional 9000rpm shifts, and for the motor to last/

Thanks.

Juan, I don't think you have to add the SX regulator. The static fuel pressure the Comptech FMU is adjustable.

There has to be a answer to your com problem with the E-manage. I just don't know what it is, I've never had my PC not communicate with the E-manage.
