Default Comptech aftercooler?

Does anyone know the status of this? Or does anyone know if they are actually going to produce one?
If not, can the vortech aftercooler be made to work?

a.k.a. "intercooler" as in ......... for a supercharger or turbo. After the blower compresses the intake air, the air is very hot. The xxxxxcooler takes this heat away before it goes into the engine. (In case you weren't kidding.)

Last post I saw from Mike B on their site's support forum was on 11/15 :

"Right now we are waiting for some prototype pieces to show up. Once they show up and everything goes smoothly from there, it still probably 3 months before product could be ready to ship. We don't have pricing established yet."

I saw it on the Comptech car over the summer. It was a prototype that supposedly worked really well. They said it would add $1000 to the purchase price. I hope they drop the actual price for the Comptech SC. Otherwise the combined price for the SC and XXXcooler is not looking that attractive in comparison to the Vortech unit.

Depends on what type of boost upgrade it's coupled with. Without a boost upgrade it will only lose power (because you'll lose boost).
