Default comptech cai

I recently installed the comptech cai on my ap1 with no other mods and did not really notice a gain in power? in sound yes . im wondering if this intake really produces power. after i got a berk test pipe and im running the veilside teardrop exhaust i notice a difference in power. but im wondering if the intake is worth it. should i sell the comptech and go for something else?

its hard to find an intake that will make a lot of power. but i'm sure there was some increase. comptech makes good stuff

You'd be lucky to get 3whp from it. intakes are mainly noise producers. your ear dyno should tell you its faster

For the money, probably not. If money is no oject - J's and Mugen seem to be most impressive!

AEM V2 is probably the best intake you can get without spending but loads of cash. It locates the filter behind the bumper so it can get more cool air. downside is the possibility of sucking up water, regardless of what safety measures it has built in.
