Default Comptech Headers fit on OEM Heatshield?

anyone know if they fit? I might also want to ceramic coat them on top of that.

I emailed Mike B. at Comptech about this just recently. Here's his reply:

We don't have provisions for the stock heatshield. Actually, Mugen is the only company I've seen that does have provisions for heatshields. Actually, whether we had brackets or not, most heatshields won't fit the header shape anyway.
Additionally, I have received dyno sheets from Mike comparing the Comptech headers to the stock header and to Mugen's. Tests were done using Comptech's CAI. Whereas the Mugen makes the most gains in the midrange, the Comptech header is geared towards high-end gains, making a peak of +5hp over stock at 8600. I'll feed the numbers from the fax he sent me into Excel and graph it out in the next few days for everyone to see.
