I would be VERY interested in converting to auto up and down on both windows, especially if it completely solves the lousy North America "corrosion" problem.

Put me down as EXTREMELY interested!

I am interested in the Honda system from overseas only. I wouldn't be surprised if it involves a new switch panel, Window Control Unit, and Convertible Top Control Unit. I am willing to pay several X more to keep my car "all Honda".

I would appreciate it if somebody would post a poll with all the possible options, and see whether others feel the same.

very very simple solution. but maybe expensive...depending where you go

get a clifford alarm concept 200 or higher and then add smart windows. whole thing will run you about 500 . youll have a good alarm and will have auto up, auto down, and the windows will roll up when you armt he alarm..i have the avant guard on my 98 prelude and it is great.

Here is a pic of the genuine Honda RHD S2000 Power Window Switch with Auto-up/Auto-down as installed in Australian models.

The Auto-up/Auto-down functionality is built into the switch itself.

A pic of the underside of the switch.

Destiny2002 and I have been swapping diagrams on this for a couple of days. Anyone wanting to check out the wiring diagram for RHD version can PM me.

Considering that the wiring is the same, would the plug still fit?

correct!!!

my service manager called me on tuesday and advised me of this and therfore did not order the parts that we had decided on (a few posts above)

he's seeing if the switches found in other 2-door honda vehicles use the same dimension switches and therefore may be be "swappable".......

Muz, check your email. I don't think the motor has an end of travel sensor for the up position, therefore the control unit built into the switch will probably not do anything on its own without it. The wiring harness and motor connector are two wires short.
