coolant flow direction diagram?

coolant flow direction diagram?

i've looked at the helms diagrams, but they show nothing about flow direction.

i'm looking for anyone with personal experience, or with the diagrams.

I think it flows downward.

Ive found it in my manual but the damn thing meantions no where of flow direction. i would assume downward, as it looks like it attaches to the t-stat cover.
