Default Coolant lifespan

What's the group experience with the OEM coolant in the S2000?
The manual calls for a truly outrageous amount of time/miles before replacement.
Is anybody replacing coolant earlier than suggested in the owner'ss manual?
Hi mileage members' comments welcome
TIA
Daniel

Some older S2000s have mere mortal antifreeze that has to be changed more often. I think the '01-'03 models use a 5 year coolant. There isn't really any reason to change it more often than your manual says.

I had read somewhere that coolant loses its anticorrosive properties over time. Something having to do with electrical charges? (Chemical engineers on the list, please help me here).
I realize that our fluid is premixed with distilled water and all, but still, 5 years???
Thanks
Daniel
