Default Coolant temp gauge AEMv2

My stock coolant temp gauge is reading maxed out all the time with my AEMv2. If I log on to my laptop I can see the true reading. Why would my EMS read correct but not my factory gauge?

Not sure if it's the same I'm sure you could google it but the AEMv1 had a temperature correction made by Modifry when using the standalone.

Your ems is is broken and needs to be sent to aem to have it looked at. I have been running the aem series 2 for many years. It would run my stock dash coolent gauge fine but one time it just started reading maxed out all the time. Since aem is very close to me I took it to them to have them check it out. They said the chip inside that runs the dash coolent gauge was messed up and they replaced it under warentee.

The aem version 1 does not run the stock coolent temp gauge on the dash. You needed the modifry aem temp fix so the aem version1 can run the stock temp gauge.

This is not the case with the aem version 2. The aem version 2 is suppse to run the stock coolent dash gauge just fine. I know mine does.

Ya, mine ran fine for a year or so then after a installed my new engine it reads maxed out. I'll email AEM to see there thoughts. Hope I don't have to send it in but it sounds like the case.
