Default correction: p1456 or p1457

Hey guys, the other day my cel went on. I pulled it via blinking light - 9 long blinks, which I believe is code 9 if im doing it correctly.

No drivability problems at all. I reset the ecu and unhooked the battery, then I drove about 50 km no problem, then the light came on again. I cant find much. Im not sure where this sensor is located either. Need advice. thanks.

Code "9" is not in my manual.
7, 8 and 10 are.

Maybe get the code with an OBDII?

I believe long blinks are 10s, so it would be a Code 90. In my manual it shows that it could be either P1456 or P1457, which is an EVAP system leakage of either the fuel tank system of the canister system.

Make sure the gas cap is good and tight.

ok. I must have been confused with the obd1 system. The blinks were about a second or so. I will reinvestigate thanks everyone.

Okay, so upon looking at it again, it is a code 90 - P1456 or P1457 like stated above. I am looking into the gas cap as the problem.

does anyone know if a scan tool will distinguish between 1456 or 1457?
