Thumbs down CRACK!

So I just got my engine back. I had it remanufactured when i spun a rod bearing. While putting all the accesories back on i attempted to put my intake back on. Well it wasnt going on flush. So i removed it and took a straight edge to it and the head and they are all straight. So i just figured it might take some torque. Not a good idea. As i put it back on and started the first bolt it got a little tight. So i figured i would give it one more turn and move on. Once again not a good idea. CRACK!!!!!! A hairline crack in the third runner. So should i have it welded or JB weld? Because this crack is not big enough to make me shell out the 300 bucks for a new manifold. After getting it rebuilt i dont have the money for it. Any suggestions?

i didn't think the manifold was that brittle...

how tight did you torque it down?

are you using a stock intake manifold gasket?
