Crank issue...
So i bought a used crank with 23k on it from a member here on s2ki and he said it was in perfect condition. Of course i jumped on it and he assured me that if it was bad i could return it.... anyways i just got a call from my mechanic that said that to the eye it looks perfect, but when he measured it it was off by barely .0001s. Thousandths he said and when he spun it it kinda made the thing measuring it jump and move a bit. He said it could have been the way it was shipped, stored, or taken apart.
He said that there might be vibration when he puts the motor back together, but there's also a possibility that there wouldn't be any issues at all. What do you guys think?? should i not put it in or should i just go out and buy a new motor.... already spent around 1000 bucks on the rebuild not to mention the cost of labor....

If he is recommending you a new crank, then I would imaging he meant ten thousandths. ( .010") . I wouldn't even try to use a crank in that condition either. Sounds like either it is bent or the journals might have been ground improperly....im betting on a bent crank. You might be able to get it bent back, but with the hassle of it,I would just get yur money back and get another one.
