... sorry guys, just gotta vent. Spent about 45 minutes dremeling off a nut because once again, one of the butter soft studs on the cat died. nut just got stuck and nothing would free it, so I cut it off.

I ended up pulling the cat and removing all of the studs and replacing them with grade 8 bolts and nuts. Good riddance to those piece of crap studs.

Just wait until your wheel studs start going like 2 of mine did. Funny thing is they were on the front wheels and not on the drive wheels.....

ugh. I lost a wheelstud on my 00... that was one of those pissers that just made me drop the car off at Honda

i lost 4 wheel studs, 3 different time. all from the rear wheels.

what cause this?? OEM studs is very weak...it never happan on any of my previous hondas.

Put a TINY bit of anti seaze on them, and it helps A LOT.

Yes, they still stay torqued.

remember that you may need to change the torque specs when you do this.
