Creaking Noise from Rear Passenger Side?
I have an 01 with 58,000 miles. As of recently, I've noticed a creaking noise coming from what sounds like the rear passenger side, only when I start from 0 MPH (sometimes). I did a quick visual inspection and didn't see anything wrong. My first though was that it might needs new shocks? I do have a clutch that needs replaced for the known "clutch buzz" but it doesn't sound like it is coming from that.
I have seen some people mention that the axle nut might need torqued.... could that cause this noise?
Any other ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Yes do it asap, bearing failure is no joke.

I retightened mine tonight and sprayed some lubricating spray on all the bushings and gone for now...quick question though, usually with bearings you can do the 12 and 3 shake but innever see this mentioned when this brought up...

The clutch buzz does not indicate that it is going to fail. My clutch has been buzzing for probably 80,000 miles, if not longer. Your shocks might be creaking because the weather is cold, it could be your interior, bushings, etc. Your axle bolt needs to retorqued, but does not contribute to the creaking. That makes a light and sharp clicking sound when you accelerate slowly from a stop. If you pop the center cap off your wheels you should be able to tell if they have been retorqued by looking at the strike marks.
