Default Cruise Control.

While cruising yesterday, i decided to engage my cruise control, and it did not engage. I was cruising around 60-65 on the highway i pressed the cruise control button and nothing happended the light on the dash didnt even come on. The cruise control green light indicator on the button was on though. Is there anything else i have to do to initiate the CC? Thanks in advance.

Yeah

Step 1: Press CC button to left of steering wheel, green light comes on
Step 2: Press Set button on steering wheel, amber text Cruise Control shows up below the speedo
Step 3: Don't touch brake or CC go off

Thanks for the instructions. I thought that by pressing the cruise control button, it engages the cruise control. I didnt know that the accel button and the decel button had other funtions. I see that the decel button has "set" funtion on the button as well. I will try that. Thanks again for the input.

You may have a bum clutch or brake CC over-ride switch. Also, check all fuses.
