Default Cusco Oil Catch Tank Question

I'm looking at the Cusco Oil Catch Tank and it seems to be Universal for either 9mm or 15mm types.

Which is the one for the S?

I can't seem to find out much about it, so anyone that's installed this, I'd appreciate the help.

It seems like it's closer to 15mm since it's 1/2" tubing coming from the valve cover outlet back to the intake, but just wanted to know. It could be that it's only one part that has two different sizes to connect, but I wanted to be sure before I order it.

I don't have the numbers for what you ask but since noone is answering you, I would suggest that you pull off the tubes that you will connect to the catch can and measure the inner diameters of them to find out. There's the PCV tube and then some owners will also connect up that front valve cover breather hose as well.

I just took mine off the other week, had it on for like 6 weeks coming off the PCV and it hadn't caught any oil, It looked nice for a bit of bling under the hood but was a waste in my case.

I'll have a look in the shed later today if no one has answered, and measure up the tube for you, I would do it now but its dark and cold out there.

'ppreciate it man. There's lots of other info on search for the catch can, but no one indicates the size. I'm going to guess it's the 9mm version, but I wanted to be sure because I want it to work correctly.

Thanks!

It so happens that I've been messing with my vaccum/boost lines yesterday and the hose going to the manifold from the PCV is more like 9mm (maybe 10mm). That's INNER diameter. Does Cusco give their numbers in terms of inner or outer? No way that tube is 15mm inner.

I bought the 9mm version
Just note that the hoses that come with it do not withstand the vacuum pressure. they will collapse. I went down to Autozone and got me black hosing.

Thanks, I'll go with that!

Thanks for the tip on the hoses too - I've seen a bit about that on other threads, so it's good to hear the reinforcment.
