Now we just need to put our heads together for some good engine management that won't cost an arm and a leg.
Look for a post from me over the weekend... Things are a brewing in the 4CFED garage baby! I'm working on something that can be gotten including installation for about $800.

I hope YS doesn't mind me posting here. I am the PWR dealer who sold him the intercooler. I'm not an S2000 owner but I have extensive experience with supercharging and intercooling mostly with Miatas and Porsches. I myself run a custom M62 supercharger with a water/air intercooler on a 94 Miata. Also, I have a close friend with a 2002 S2000 (completely stock) that I have driven occassionally and been to the auto-x with often.

The reason I am writing is to gauge the level of interest in an intercooler kit for the S2000. It would be similar to what YS has done but cleaned up so that the piping would be smoother in transition from the blower to intercooler. (Not that I'm picking on the incredible job he has done at getting this mounted!) Also I would like to look at adding the larger 6X6" core rather than the 4X6" YS is using for added performance at higher boost levels. Cost would run around $1000 for a complete kit. The heat exchanger I use does not use an attached fan like YS's setup but that could certainly be an option.

This is not an ad but merely a survey to see if something like this is feasible before I invest any capital in developing a system. Feedback appreciated. I'll check back here or you could always email me.

Thanks,

Steve Lewis

I was trying to be stealth

No butt dyno since we are under snow. I will have real dyno results tomorrow. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Lemme see... his butt dyno tells him that on the snow we have his car breaks traction even more easily than before! LOL!
