Default Cut Into Control Arm??

Hi everybody, I removed my front lower control arms and to do this I had to cut through the compliance bushing with a sawzall on one front lower arm. I removed the control arm and noticed I cut into the arm a bit.

I would like to know if this cut will affect the integrity of my control arm and if it should be replaced. I track my car so I want to be sure this will be safe. I am putting new mugen compliance bushings in.

I'd replace it, I grabbed a new LCA from RockAuto for $75 shipped when my camber bushing seized. For $75 its worth the piece of mind IMO.

Could use it if you put a radius on the area,<grinding it out to smooth to reduce stress >
would not see it failing tbh <Track use only>
Or get another

No, won't affect it's integrity, just it's looks. Wouldn't worry unless you're building a show car.

Hey guys, I also noticed that I cut into the subframe a bit. Does anybody think this will be a problem?

From the pic looks like you just shaved some material. If it was mine I wouldn't worry about it.

A Quick file with plenty of black paint.
Think I will slide a thin piece of metal plate there when I get the saw out to do mine...
