CV Joint Leaking Grease
So another s2ki member changed my diff and manual transmission fluid for me
But while we had the car up on the lift we noticed that the driver side rear inner CV boot seems to have a tiny leak in it, and grease is splattered all over. I don't have any sounds coming from it yet, but I understand that if there isn't any grease left the axle can get worn out.
So, my question is, is this a difficult/expensive fix? I'm assuming I need to get a new CV boot?
Thank you for any information!

Yes, simple fix...relatively.
yea, new boot. Maybe 3 new tri-pot rollers...they're cheap enough.
You'll need to take out the 6 bolts on the inner joint CV cup to diff, pop the ball joint on the affected side, let the CV cup get free of the diff (will take some wiggling but nothing bad), remove the CV boot clamp, pull the CV cup off the driveshaft (make sure the 3 tri-pots don't get lost and NOTE THEIR ORIENTATION!!), use some snap ring pliers to remove the outer tri-pot thingie, slide that off, slide off the boot (another clamp on the inside), slide the new clamp on, clean and pack the CV cup, put the tri-pot back on with the snap ring thing, pack the CV cup with grease, install the rollers on the tri-pot, put all that back into the cup, clamp it up, put the cup back on the diff, put on the 6 bolts, and put the ball joint back together.
Easier than it sounds, but familiarize yourself with the parts and the process!
I think a fair price at a shop for that is $200USD labor, maybe $150 in a low-cost area. It can be done without pulling the whole driveshaft.

I would get an Autozone 60$dollar axle. I have compared it, and its like the oem same thickness and everything. I have been using on for a while and have had no problems or vibrations.
