Default cylinder head rebuild DIY?

is there a diy for this... or a manual that has specs and so on to rebuild the head..
my main concern is the valve adjustment.. i know the specs already.. but they are for when the head is warm or at operation temp... but when the heads off the car.. thats a bit impossible to achieve... so what specs should i set them valves to when cold.... keep in mind these are new valves.. new retainers... and new springs..and new seats
all brian crower...
should i replace valve guides?

any info would be great...
thanks guys

No, the S2000 manual states the engine is to be cold when the valves are adjusted.

You can't effectively adjust the valves with the head off the car.

The rocker shafts and stands need to be remove to access the head bolts, and the final torque on these bolts will change your valve adjustment.
