Valve question people.
so im cleaning and lapping the valves in my cylinder head.
are thethese normal looking or bad. I don't know if there is a factory coating on the stock valves so any info would help.
inlet
A little pitting on the top pic. Is the seat/valve interface pitted as well? Otherwise, shouldn't be an issue. Is the guide play within specs? I know valves are expensive, but 6/10 times new valves are all that's needed to get guide play within specs.

Thanks for the reply, pretty sure guides are fine. Getting the head checked over this week so will add it to the list for my mate to check. The valve seat was slightly pitted but nothing to bad so a good lapping job should do wonders. Is the ppitting going to give me hassel in the long term? I have another head i can pinch a valve from if so.
