I pulled my head (sent to Laskey for headwork) and noticed two vertical scoring lines at the top of cylinder #2 on the intake side. Something obviously went through the engine. Picture below. The vertical line on the right can be felt with your finger nail, the left cannot. There is also a mark to the right of the verticallines but it cannot be felt. I'm not sure when or how this happened. I did lose a small piece of a zip tie about a year ago when I was wiring the injectors, it may have gone through the injector hole. About 4 months ago a seal broke on my vortech SC (the oil leak was on the outside though)

 

i would like to see the piston skirts to see what they look like. also, that looks like alot of carbon on the pistons tops, appears you need to run some intake cleaner through there on a regular basis.
