Default cylinder scratch

I was planning on rebuilding this f20c block and while I was inspecting it before giving it a wash and I noticed this scratch. I'm not sure if it was there before I purchased it or if I caused it somehow. how bad is this scratch ? it definitely catches my nail, is this rebuildable or just a boat anchor now? i know typically any scratch is game over but does it make a difference that its at the top?

Send it. It doesn't run the length of the bore.

Not ideal, but I think its fine. A lot of these engines have bore scratching. Typically, if it doesn't run the length of the bore, something like that will be fine.
