Default Cylinder scratch

Isn't bad it's just like a Paint clear scratch.. even if you try to scratch it with your nail, your nail wont get stuck...

will this affect my block performance?

If the compression is fine, I don't think those will impact the performance of your block. If you can't even catch a nail on them, I don't think you have a problem.

You may have more oil consumption, but a compression test will really be the determinant. Look for consistency over nominal readings.

Normal s2k motors dont look like that. The cylinders will be spotless. What year is the engine? That is definitely due to lack of lubrication at some point.

I have a motor here with 120k and a spun bearing due to low oil and the cylinders are perfect. One fine black line at the most.

Its an 02' Ap1 with 95k right now...

Problem is that spark plug tread went bad and the spark plug fell and piston hit it out of the hole... and some pieces of the coil melted inside and went to the piston... you can feel the scratch but they arent that big... maybe a small honey will fix it?
