Not true, It has been out since day one.

It was out when I bought my 02. My car was bought is Dec 01.

Even if it's not honda blue, the original coolant is dark green. You have the wrong coolant.

yeah..your coolant isn't a dark enough green. that MUST be the problem here..

It doesn't matter what color the coolant is as long as it's silicate free.

We have an Aluminum block. That means we need a blend of coolant what is compatible. Most owners get the wrong coolant and never know it. The problem is that the additives in coolant will react with the Aluminum. EVen the dealers have been know to put the wrong coolant in our motors. Don't take my word for it, read your owners manual.

Yes I guess I never knew my coolant was incorrect, shame on me! Anyway thanks guys, Im going to bolt it up today and boost until it blows. In the mean time I will be building a low compression sleeved block.

I use the GM coolant. Its made for their LS blocks (alum) so it should be fine. I asked the parts guy for my local dealer 'why is it special' he said 'IDK'. anyway, let us know how the engine runs! I'm worried now..maybe I'll do that oil-squirter mod/fix.
