Default Dash Lights no longer turning on

I've got a stock 2007 s2000. I turned on my car two days ago, and the dashboard lights refused to turn on. This means that I can't see my speed, mileage, rpms, or gas tank status. My turn signal lights still work, as do all the indicator lights (Brakes, gas light, etc).

Does anyone have any idea how to get them back on? Is there some setting I accidentally disabled? Is it looking like a DIY fix?

Thanks for any and all advice.

Did you try replacing the fuse? It is definitely not a bulb issue because the dash has a lot of lights and they will not all go out at the same time.

Ok, I've tried every fuse I can possibly think of, and none of them have blown. I couldn't access the IGP (DBW), the IGP (LAF), or the "Small Lights". Could the dashboard lights be controlled by one of those fuses?

If none of those work, what should be my next course of action?

Shouldn't 07 be under warranty?

Depends on mileage, mines an 08 and I've only got about 4k left. You asked if this could be something you caused. Where you doing something to the car recently? The way you throw that out there makes me think you might have been doing something that you think could have caused this. It might be helpful to share with us what you where doing.

I haven't tried this in my S2k, but in my '00 insight with a similar gauge cluster you could hold down the - to dim the lights and it would go off if you turned them down all the way.

I haven't done anything out of the ordinary. It just didn't turn on one day, and it's been the same ever since. And for reference, i have a Laguna Blue 2007 s2000 with 26000 miles.

I checked pretty much every fuse, and they all seemed to work. I guess my only course of action is to take it in for repairs.

Yah, I just tested on my way home and you cannot dim the dash lights to the point of turning off.

Seems like it ought to be something simple for someone that is familiar with the system, probably a loose connection or fuse somewhere.

Good Luck!

You said you hadn't done anything out of the ordinary, but what have you done?

The factory warranty is 36 months, 36,000 miles. You're under the mileage, but the warranty goes from the original sale date so if it was sold late in the model year you may be in luck. Mine is still good for a few months and they just replaced the VSA module for free (a $1600 repair!).

Call your dealer, give him your VIN, and they will be able to tell you whether you are still covered.

Laguna Blue is my second favorite color.
