Thanks HondaS. I've read all the material i could regarding the retainers and I will have them inspected (though the CEL did not come up as a response to a mis-shift). Problem is there are no s2k specialists in Israel and i don't even trust the central garage.

Actually, when i went there today and asked for the codes saying i want to post them on a forum, the mechanic gave me his cell # and said "let me know what they say". Very reassuring
